Insurance/Billing To assist you, we will take care of filing all of your claims to your insurance carrier, with the exception of international plans. Steindler Orthopedic Clinic contracts with a number of major insurance carriers.

When we file your claim to your insurance carrier we ask your insurance carrier to pay us directly. We ask that you pay for any co-payment or coinsurance at the time of service. Once we receive payment or non-payment notice from your insurance carrier any balance remaining will be billed directly to you. If you are not covered by a health insurance policy, we ask that you pay for the charges associated with your visit at each appointment. Should payments be a financial concern for you, arrangements can be made in advance. Please call our Account Specialist at 319-338-4440. If your orthopedic condition requires the completion of a disability claim, we charge a minimal fee for completing the form. Payment for these claims is required in advance. We accept MasterCard, VISA, cash, and checks. |
