Many of our patients have already had care at other institutions.  Some of the diagnostic workups have included xrays, MRIs, CT scans, etc...   It is very important that you bring all available studies with you to your first appointment.  In addition to these studies, we would also like the radiology reports as well.  

Many times, the outside xray centers will try to provide you "copies" of their xrays.  Unfortunately, copies are frequently of unacceptable quality and require us to obtain our own xrays.  Please insist that they provide originals.   If they have digital formats and present you a CD rom, that is acceptable.

 We will keep your xray films until we are finished with them.  We will then mail them back to the appropriate health centers.  If you brought a CD rom, we will keep the CD rom until no longer needed.  In addition, we will load your digital files onto our computer system so we no longer have to find your disc.
