To assist you, we will take care of filing all of your claims to your insurance carrier, with the exception of international plans. Steindler Orthopedic Clinic contracts with a number of major insurance carriers. If you have questions about what plans we participate with, please contact our Account Specialist at 319-338-4440. When we file your claim to your insurance carrier we ask your insurance carrier to pay us directly. We ask that you pay for any co-payment or coinsurance at the time of service. Once we receive payment or non-payment notice from your insurance carrier any balance remaining will be billed directly to you. If you are not covered by a health insurance policy, we ask that you pay for the charges associated with your visit at each appointment. Should payments be a financial concern for you, arrangements can be made in advance. Please call our Account Specialist at 319-338-4440. If your orthopedic condition requires the completion of a disability claim, we charge a minimal fee for completing the form. Payment for these claims is required in advance. We accept MasterCard, VISA, cash, and checks. |
